Had to eat a Belgian Waffle while in Belgium!
Efrat with the beer "list" at Delirium in Brussels.  This bar claims to have the most beers in the world - they have over 2000 and their list is more or less the size of a phone book!

Some of the beers we tried at Delirium!
Throughout Brussels and Antwerp there were these graffiti walls.  This one is Tintin, so I obviously had to take a picture!

The beach in Malaga

Beautiful gardens in Malaga

Victoria and I were fortunate enough to be in Malaga on the 25th anniversary of the Procession of the Virgin Maria. It was one of the coolest things I've witnessed. That 'float', for a lack of a better word, was carried on the shoulders of ( I would guess) 80 men and it was so heavy they had to stop every 5 meters or so. Fascinating culture.

This is Victoria at dinner after waiting so long to see the Procession.

Dad and I went to Madurodam in the Hague.  It is this park where there are miniatures of many buildings in the Netherlands.  It's kinda kitschy but it was cute and a fun way to spend a couple of hours!

If only we had a legitimate reason to buy them.....

Dad and I went to see the dam system the Dutch put in place following a huge flood in 1953.  It wasn't completed until 1986 and involved a lot of innovative work - from how to solve the problem to how to make and move the large concrete posts.
This is when I really did begin to lose faith in the ability of the Dutch to build solid buildings...

Dad's last night in the Hague (and yes it was 8pm when I took this photo..).  That's the Binnenhof (Dutch Parliament) in the background.
Just a  night shot from a while ago - on my way home in the Hague

Okay, so I've seen this parrot (?) multiple times outside my window! Escaped pet? or a very well trained parrot?
